Lit by candlelight and with their own art projected in the background, Inga Liljeström (Vic) and Rose Turtle Ertler (Tas) present three intimate concerts in northern lutruwita/Tasmania.
Featuring a range of instruments including guitars, banjo, baritone ukulele & keyboard, the concerts promise to warm the heart and bring some beauty to the world.
Tea and cake will be served.
We'd love to see you there!
Rose Turtle Ertler is a musician/composer & community arts agitator currently living on pallittorre country in northern
lutruwita/Tasmania. Her solo shows feature thoughtfully constructed songs on baritone ukulele, piano, banjo & electric guitar - wonky folk & precarious pop with a hint of activism. Rose has been performing for over 30 years solo and in many music/performance collaborations in Australia and beyond including at ukulele festivals in New York, New Zealand and Europe.
Inga Liljeström is an Australian Finnish experimental vocalist and composer, renowned for her haunting vocals, evocative
lyrics, and explorative sonic landscapes. Her style is diverse, evoking cinematic nordic landscapes to dry desert terrain, with elements of folk, rock, Americana and gypsy. She'll be performing on electric guitar and using a vocal looper to create some immersive layers of voice.
